Do I have to always play on the same computer to use my characters?
No. All information about your characters is stored on our own secure servers rather than on your computer. You can access your account from any computer that has the game installed.
How does the World of Warcraft differ from other MMORPGs?
The World of Warcraft differs from other MMORPGs in many ways. One of our main goals is to ensure that players can enjoy World of Warcraft without having to invest huge amounts of playtime. Players will be able to complete quests and experience the world at their own pace-whether it be a few hours here and there, or week-long adventuring marathons. Additionally, our quest system provides an enormous variety of captivating quests with story elements, dynamic events, and flexible reward systems. The World of Warcraft also features a faster style of play, with less downtime and an emphasis on combat and tactics against multiple opponents.
Can I play this game with a joystick or gamepad?
Currently there are no plans to offer direct support in WoW for the use of a joystick or gamepad. The controls in the game are based on a mouse and keyboard interface.
Do characters have the ability to change factions?
No, specific characters can not change factions. You may have different factions on different servers or even different faction characters on the same, non PvP server.
